We are appointing a Practice Lead to build, scale, and lead our US Software Engineering practice as part of Vallum’s continued growth within technology recruitment.

This is a senior leadership recruitment role for an individual with a proven track record in US tech markets, capable of driving revenue, setting strategy, and building high-performing teams.

The Role

As Practice Lead, you will:

· Own the US Software Engineering practice, setting market strategy and growth plans

· Lead recruitment delivery in a hands-on 360 capacity, while transitioning towards team leadership

· Build and develop key US client relationships across software engineering and technology markets

· Drive new business acquisition and long-term account growth

· Hire, develop, and mentor consultants as the division scales

· Shape market positioning, pricing, and service offerings

Experience & Track Record

We are looking to speak with leaders who:

· Have significant experience recruiting within US Software Engineering markets

· Bring a strong 360 recruitment background with consistent high billings

· Have experience building or leading a desk or team

· Understand US hiring models, contract structures, and market nuances

· Are commercially astute, strategic, and growth-focused
