Policy Statement
Vallum Associates Limited is committed to reducing our environmental impact and continually improving our environmental performance as an integral part of our business strategy and operating methods, with regular review points. We will encourage our employees to join us in this mission, starting with simple steps such as reducing paper wastage and recycling as much as possible using the recycling bins provided by the facilities of our offices.
As an office, we strive for excellence in every aspect of our business and are committed to minimising the environmental impacts of our operations.
Responsibility
At Vallum Associates Limited, every employee plays a crucial role in ensuring the success of our environmental policy. While Kang Shik Kim (COO), Mohammad Kalhoro (OM) for London HQ, and Thomas Baird (MD) for the Boston Office are responsible for its implementation, we recognise and value the contributions of all our employees in meeting the policy's aims and objectives.
Policy aims
We endeavour to:
Comply with all relevant regulatory requirements.
Continually improve and reduce environmental impacts.
Increase employee awareness and training.
Tree Planting Initiative
At Vallum Associates, we are dedicated to making a tangible environmental impact through our tree-planting initiative. For every placement we make, we plant a tree—helping to neutralise CO2 emissions while also creating employment opportunities in the Global South. By supporting reforestation projects with social benefits, we contribute to a sustainable future while making a positive social impact.
This mission would not be possible without our partner organisations, Grow My Tree and Impact Hero, who carry out the essential groundwork. Through their efforts, we support local farmers and villagers working in tree nurseries, generating local employment and economic opportunities. Our commitment to sustainability extends beyond environmental impact—it fosters community growth and resilience. You can track our progress and statistics here.
