​Role overview

We are strengthening our team focused on Power System Operations and Security, supporting the deep integration of renewable energy sources and the evolution of energy and balancing markets. We are seeking senior professionals with strong expertise in transmission system operations to contribute to local and international projects addressing system reliability, sustainability, and economic efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Define and assess operational principles for power systems

• Develop, validate, and analyze power system models

• Perform steady-state studies (load flow, short-circuit analysis)

• Conduct dynamic and stability analyses (frequency and voltage stability)

• Carry out grid code and connection compliance studies

• Support assessments of system reliability and security (e.g. capacity calculation, balancing, operational planning)

• Contribute to business development activities, including technical input to proposals and client engagement

Responsibilities will be aligned with your expertise and discussed during the interview process.

Profile

• Master’s degree in Engineering or Applied Mathematics/Physics

• 10+ years of experience in power system operations and security, including RES integration and balancing

• Strong ability to translate complex technical data into actionable insights

• Experience with power system simulation tools (e.g. PowerFactory, PSS®E)

• Fluent in German
