​Snr Director - Structured Finance

Vallum Associates are partnered with a leading SMR (Small Module Reactor) firm which is seeking an experienced Project/Structured Finance expert to oversee the structuring, negotiation, and execution of complex financing transactions supporting the company’s SMR projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the origination, structuring, and execution of tax equity, debt, and other financing arrangements for assets

• Negotiate key transaction documents and coordinate due diligence with lenders, investors, legal counsel, and advisors

• Oversee financial modeling, portfolio analysis, and performance monitoring across active investments

• Collaborate with internal teams across development, construction, legal, and operations to ensure seamless financing and project execution

• Maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, investors, and other external partners

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred)

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in structured finance, investment banking, or project finance, within energy markets, business development, or other relevant roles

• Proven success managing complex PPAs and tolling agreements

• Strong financial modeling, negotiation, and relationship management skills

• Prior experience working with Utilities and/or large industrial/power customers is required
