Job description

We are looking for a Regulatory Specialist!

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and evidence gathering to support the assessment of GSOPs within energy networks.

  • Perform data analysis, including interpreting performance metrics, consumer impact data, and network operator information.

  • Support the development of policy recommendations through evidence-based analysis and structured reporting.

  • Assist in stakeholder engagement, including preparing briefs, summaries, and meeting materials.

  • Contribute to project management activities, including planning, tracking deliverables, and ensuring timelines are met.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to support regulatory decision-making and consultation processes.

  • Prepare clear and concise documentation, including reports, presentations, and analytical summaries.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to interpret data and identify key insights.

  • Experience or keen interest in the energy sector, particularly energy networks, is highly desirable.

  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks, policy development, or economic analysis is beneficial.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and general data-handling tools.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a hybrid working environment.

Additional Requirements

  • Must be BPSS cleared.

  • Ability to work hybrid, with regular attendance at the Canary Wharf office.
