A leading company in energy and chemical process solutions is looking for a Regional Sales Manager to lead business development efforts across the UK and Ireland markets. Reporting directly to the Commercial Associate Director, this role is pivotal in driving sales of technology licensing and product offerings that support the energy transition, including sustainable aviation fuel production, plastic recycling, and carbon capture technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Actively prospect and identify new business opportunities within the region, targeting key industries and stakeholders
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients at all organisational levels, from process engineers to C-suite executives
Lead the full sales cycle, including conducting bid/no bid evaluations, preparing detailed commercial proposals, negotiating contracts in collaboration with legal teams, and closing deals
Serve as the main point of contact internally to coordinate efforts across various departments to ensure seamless delivery of integrated solutions
Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline health through effective use of CRM tools and reporting
Represent the company within the local energy transition ecosystem, engaging with industry stakeholders and promoting innovative technologies
Qualifications and Skills:
Approximately 10 years of professional experience in sales within the energy or chemical industries, with a strong understanding of process technologies and/or industrial catalysts
Proven ability to manage complex sales processes involving technical products and multiple decision-makers
Strong customer-centric approach combined with excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Fluent English language proficiency is essential
Willingness to travel frequently across the region to meet clients and support business growth
