Job Title: Project/Programme Manager – Business Change (Energy Sector)

Location: Hybrid London (2days/week Onsite)

Duration: 6months+

650GBP/day Inside IR35

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead business change and transformation initiatives for a leading energy sector client. The role focuses on delivering organisational and operational change, ensuring smooth transition, stakeholder alignment, and successful implementation of change programmes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of business change and transformation projects

  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables

  • Drive business change initiatives across operations, processes, and systems

  • Work closely with stakeholders to define requirements and ensure alignment

  • Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change impacts across the programme

  • Ensure effective communication and engagement across business teams

  • Oversee governance, reporting, and project documentation

  • Support change adoption, including training, communication, and stakeholder readiness

  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to business objectives

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience as a Project Manager delivering business change projects

  • Proven experience within the energy, utilities, or related sector

  • Experience managing transformation or operational change initiatives

  • Strong knowledge of project lifecycle and governance frameworks

  • Experience in stakeholder management across business and technical teams

  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and complex project environments

  • Strong communication and leadership skills

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with regulatory or compliance-driven projects in the energy sector

  • Exposure to change management frameworks (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR)

  • Experience with tools like MS Project, JIRA, or similar
