Job Title: Project/Programme Manager – Business Change (Energy Sector)
Location: Hybrid London (2days/week Onsite)
Duration: 6months+
650GBP/day Inside IR35
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead business change and transformation initiatives for a leading energy sector client. The role focuses on delivering organisational and operational change, ensuring smooth transition, stakeholder alignment, and successful implementation of change programmes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end delivery of business change and transformation projects
Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables
Drive business change initiatives across operations, processes, and systems
Work closely with stakeholders to define requirements and ensure alignment
Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change impacts across the programme
Ensure effective communication and engagement across business teams
Oversee governance, reporting, and project documentation
Support change adoption, including training, communication, and stakeholder readiness
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to business objectives
Required Skills & Experience
Strong experience as a Project Manager delivering business change projects
Proven experience within the energy, utilities, or related sector
Experience managing transformation or operational change initiatives
Strong knowledge of project lifecycle and governance frameworks
Experience in stakeholder management across business and technical teams
Ability to manage multiple workstreams and complex project environments
Strong communication and leadership skills
Preferred Skills
Experience with regulatory or compliance-driven projects in the energy sector
Exposure to change management frameworks (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR)
Experience with tools like MS Project, JIRA, or similar
