​M365 Backup Design Architect - Contract - Hybrid

Role Overview

The M365 Backup Design Architect will be responsible for defining and owning the end-to-end architecture and strategic design of Rubrik Microsoft 365 backup solutions across enterprise-wide tenant.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design of end-to-end backup architecture for Microsoft 365 workloads, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams.

• Architect highly available, resilient backup and recovery solutions aligned with business continuity requirements.

• Perform capacity planning and scalability design for approximately 350,000 users and petabyte-scale data volumes.

• Integrate Rubrik M365 backup solutions with existing infrastructure, identity, and access management platforms.

• Provide technical leadership, architectural governance, and design assurance throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8–10+ years of experience with Microsoft 365, including proven delivery of enterprise-scale tenant backup solutions.

• Deep hands-on expertise with Rubrik Enterprise Backup (or equivalent M365 tenant backup platforms).

• Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 architecture, services, and APIs.

• Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale enterprise deployments.
