About the Company
A leading European main contractor delivering large-scale Data Centre projects across the Nordics is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join a live hyperscale project in Finland.
About the Role
This is a site-based rotational role on a high-profile, mission-critical build. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving a zero-incident culture across a fast-paced construction environment.
Responsibilities
Support site management in implementing and maintaining the project Safety Management System
Provide hands-on safety leadership across all work fronts on a live Data Centre campus
Review and monitor Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
Oversee Permit to Work systems including high-risk activities (energisation, lifting operations, temporary works, confined space etc.)
Monitor LOTO and isolation procedures within MEP-heavy environments
Conduct site inspections, audits and daily safety walks
Lead toolbox talks and safety briefings
Participate in accident and incident investigations, identifying root causes and preventative measures
Liaise with subcontractors to ensure full compliance with project safety standards
Maintain clear reporting lines to Project and Operations Management
Promote a strong behavioural safety culture across all trades
Qualifications
Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety (or equivalent)
NEBOSH (or equivalent internationally recognised qualification)
Minimum 3+ years’ construction experience (5+ preferred)
Previous experience on Data Centre, pharmaceutical, industrial or heavy MEP projects
Strong understanding of Permit to Work, LOTO and high-risk activity controls
Experience working for a main contractor in a site-based role
Confident communicator able to challenge unsafe behaviours
Strong documentation and reporting skills
Comfortable working rotationally in a remote Nordic location
Required Skills
Strong contractor-side experience, ideally within data centres or other high-risk industrial environments
Preferred Skills
Experience on hyperscale Data Centres
Experience on mission-critical facilities
Experience on high-voltage / MEP-intensive projects
Experience on large-scale industrial or infrastructure builds
Pay range and compensation package
Rotational schedule (17/4 or 10/4)
