The Role

The Electrical Designer will support the design and production of electrical systems for a variety of commercial, institutional, and renovation projects. This position offers hands-on involvement from schematic design through construction documentation, working closely with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop lighting, power, and distribution system designs

• Perform load calculations and assist with equipment selection

• Produce construction documents using AutoCAD and/or Revit

• Coordinate with architects and other engineering disciplines

• Conduct field surveys and support construction administration

• Ensure compliance with NEC and applicable codes
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

• 1+ years of building systems design experience

• Proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD

• Strong understanding of electrical codes and building systems

• Team-oriented with strong communication skills
