⚡Contracts & Compliance Administrator – Full Time

Location: London | Hybrid Working

Company: Vallum Associates

🌍About Vallum Associates

At Vallum Associates, we’re more than a recruitment firm — we’re a globally established, multi-division consultancy partnering with some of the world’s most innovative organisations across Engineering, Renewables, Technology, Financial Services, and Energy.

For over a decade, we’ve built a trusted reputation for connecting exceptional talent with mission-critical projects worldwide. With six globally scaling divisions working collaboratively across high-growth markets, we continue to experience year-on-year growth — driven by our commitment to excellence, innovation, and people.

🧾The Opportunity

We’re looking for an organised, detail-oriented, and proactive Contracts & Compliance Administrator to join our central operations team.

This role is pivotal to keeping Vallum running smoothly — supporting our consultants, ensuring compliance across multiple divisions, and playing a key part in the contractor onboarding and contract management process. You’ll thrive here if you enjoy responsibility, have an eye for detail, and like being at the heart of a busy, fast-paced environment where every day brings something new.

⚙️Key Responsibilities

Compliance & Monitoring

  • Ensure full compliance with company policies, regulations, and best practice.

  • Collate and process compliance documentation (e.g., right-to-work checks, insurance, background verification).

  • Oversee contractor onboarding, ensuring all required documentation is complete and accurate.

  • Support IR35 status tracking, GDPR adherence, and internal audits.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of compliance laws, policies, and recruitment legislation.

Contracts

  • Draft, process, and manage contractor and client contracts using standard templates.

  • Track contract renewals, amendments, and terminations to ensure deadlines are met.

  • Liaise with consultants, clients, and contractors to resolve queries and ensure terms are correctly implemented.

  • Monitor legislative updates affecting recruitment and support internal training and awareness.

General Administration

  • Manage the contracts inbox, addressing employee and candidate queries promptly.

  • Generate reports, maintain trackers, and support compliance audits and management reviews.

  • Use TimeSheet Portal to maintain worker profiles and pay information accurately.

  • Support the Contracts & Compliance Manager with day-to-day tasks and project work.

🧩About You

You’re confident, organised, and able to balance multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. You’ll be proactive in identifying potential issues, assertive when solving them, and committed to ensuring accuracy in every aspect of your work.

We’d love to see:

  • Strong organisational and communication skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

  • Confidence working autonomously and within a team

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)

  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset

  • An interest in recruitment legislation and compliance

Bonus points for:

  • Experience in recruitment, contracts, or compliance roles

  • Legal or administrative background

💼What You’ll Get

  • Collaborative and supportive environment

  • Opportunity to learn, grow, and gain exposure to the inner workings of a scaling global recruitment business

  • Hybrid working (with flexibility midweek)

  • Regular social events and company-wide incentives

  • Exposure to six high-growth global divisions
