Job description
Vallum Associates are currently partnered with a client to staff a commissioning team for an Energy From Waste Plant in England.
Lead BOP (Mechanical) Commissioning Engineer
Expectation/Requirements
The lead BOP commissioning engineer should have a working knowledge of power station plant and the associated utility packages such as air, water, waste, etc.
Candidate should be experienced in mechanical systems so they're able to drive the mechanical commissioning activities to ensure plant is installed correctly and aligned with all quality checks completed before first energization and the subsequent hot commissioning.
Candidates should will be able to maintain commissioning progress in line with project requirements and attend meetings to offer technical support with both on site teams and Vendors.
Experience in commissioning on EFW, Biomass or conventional power plants is essential.
Details
Contract: March 2026 - April 2027
Schedule: 5 days a week 10 hours a day, During Hot commissioning 10 days on 4 days off.
Outside IR35 - All in Daily Rate
Right to work in the UK required
