Job description

Commercial Director – EV Charging Growth

Join a fast-growing leader in Europe’s electric mobility transformation! As demand for electric vehicles and high-quality charging infrastructure accelerates, we are expanding rapidly across the continent — and we’re looking for a Commercial Director to elevate our commercial capabilities and drive the next phase of growth.

You’ll be part of an international team of 400+ colleagues representing more than 45 nationalities, working across 10 European markets. Our organisation stands out for its commitment to reliability, sustainability, and clean energy, earning recognition for excellence across multiple countries.

About the role
As Commercial Director, you will lead revenue growth at all levels — from individual site opportunities to major regional and national agreements. You will further build and guide our international sales organisation, ensuring we capitalise on both strategic partnerships and local commercial initiatives.

Your scope will include securing national contracts (e.g. employer fleet deals, B2B2C partnerships, mobility operator agreements) as well as local sales activation, such as improving site visibility through commercial arrangements, connecting local fleet users, or creating value-enhancing partnerships with nearby businesses.

What you’ll do

Set the strategy & drive growth

Define and execute a scalable commercial sales strategy that aligns with ambitious expansion goals. You’ll identify market opportunities, streamline processes, and ensure sales performance strongly contributes to network and revenue growth.

Lead & grow the team

Build and manage a high-performing international sales organisation. You’ll provide structure, coaching, and clear KPIs, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Own the sales pipeline

Oversee the full sales funnel from lead generation to contract signing. You’ll introduce or optimise a CRM system (Salesforce/HubSpot), develop strong forecasting discipline, and bring transparency to sales performance.

Build strong partnerships

Act as a key commercial representative for fleets, corporates, property owners, and mobility partners. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure market insights and customer needs are embedded across the business.

Who we’re looking for

You are a strategic, visionary commercial leader with a passion for building relationships and scaling high-growth businesses. You combine data-driven decision-making with entrepreneurial energy and can confidently unlock new revenue streams across international markets.

You’ll bring:

  • 10+ years’ B2B sales experience, including senior-level negotiation responsibilities

  • A track record in high-growth or infrastructure-related sectors (mobility, energy, SaaS, or EV industry experience beneficial)

  • Strong strategic thinking with excellent operational execution

  • Deep knowledge of sales processes, key account management, and go-to-market strategies

  • Experience building and leading international sales teams across several markets

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, including C-suite engagement

  • Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce or HubSpot)

  • Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus

  • Cultural awareness and experience working across European markets

  • Genuine motivation to contribute to the clean energy and electric mobility transition

Benefits include:

  • Stock option plan to share in the value you help create

  • Annual development budget of €3,000 per employee

  • Access to a fully electric company car fleet (with charging included), also for private use

  • Daily lunch, snacks, and drinks at our offices

  • 29 holiday days + 2 additional “mission days” for personal causes or sustainability work

  • Year-round social events, including a large annual company offsite

  • Flexible working hours, full travel reimbursement, and choice of preferred working equipment
