​Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to join a Wind Engineering team, supporting the technical development of onshore wind projects in Germany. This role involves close collaboration with project developers and engineers to provide expert input across all stages of project development, with a focus on late-stage development, procurement, and construction phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the technical scope and performance management of wind turbine packages, ensuring successful delivery in line with project requirements.

• Lead the negotiation and development of technical terms within wind turbine supply contracts.

• Provide expert technical input to support planning applications, including environmental and permitting documentation.

• Work closely with engineering teams to define project specifications and lead design reviews to ensure compliance and quality.

• Collaborate with project management to align and manage the turbine delivery schedule within the broader project timeline.

• Support handover processes, resolve technical issues, and manage any warranty-related matters post-installation.

• Communicate complex technical details clearly and effectively to a variety of internal and external stakeholders.

• Conduct site inspections and visits as necessary during development and construction.
  

Candidate Profile

• Degree-qualified in a technical or engineering discipline, or equivalent relevant education, combined with several years of industry experience.

• Demonstrated experience in negotiating wind turbine technical contracts or supply agreements.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic project environment.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience working in international environments, with the ability to navigate cultural differences.

• While a specific office location is preferred, flexible or remote working options are available.

• Business fluency in both German and English is essential.
