​Transmission Line Project Manager

Vallum Associates are partnered with a leading engineering firm who is seeking a Transmission Line Project Manager to oversee and deliver complex transmission line projects ranging from 69kV to 500kV. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who wants to take the next step into project management while continuing to contribute to the technical engineering and design process.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering and design of transmission line facilities

• Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, and overall performance

• Act as a technical project manager with a strong focus on engineering and design

• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions

• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and performance management for engineers and designers

• Support business development through sales calls, client presentations, and site visits

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field (PE license required)

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in transmission line design

• Proficiency with PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE (PLS-TOWER is a plus)

• Strong interest in stepping into a technical project management role
