​Sr. Project Engineer – Substation (Remote, East Coast)

Vallum Associates are partnered with an established national engineering firm is seeking a Sr. Project Engineer to join their substation team. This role will focus on the physical design of substations across the East Coast and offers remote flexibility with occasional travel.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead substation projects from design through construction support and energization

• Produce and review physical design drawings and calculations (grounding, lightning, conduit, etc.)

• Provide QA/QC reviews and PE stamping as required

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior engineers

What We’re Looking For:

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited)

• PE license with ability to obtain reciprocity in multiple states

• 6+ years of substation design experience (IOUs, Coops, or Municipalities)

• Familiarity with AutoCAD and grounding design software a plus

• Ability to travel up to 15% as needed
