Job Title: Solar Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated O&M Solar Field Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of utility-scale and commercial solar PV systems. You will ensure optimal system performance, maximize uptime, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on solar PV systems in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and O&M procedures.

• Conduct troubleshooting and corrective maintenance of inverters, combiner boxes, modules, wiring, and other system components.

• Monitor system performance and generate service and inspection reports.

• Respond to alerts, alarms, and service requests in a timely manner.

• Document all maintenance and service activities accurately using software tools or paper logs.

• Assist in the commissioning of new systems and support performance testing.

• Adhere to all site-specific safety and environmental protocols.

• Coordinate with remote monitoring teams and report significant system issues.

• Travel to multiple sites as needed for maintenance and repairs.​
