About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Service Manager to support offshore cable termination and testing projects. Working alongside the Project Manager, you’ll provide technical and operational support, ensuring effective coordination between office-based teams andOffshore Installation Managers (OIMs) onsite.
This hybrid role requires a strong background in offshore operations, particularly in cable installation, and regular presence in our Newcastle office (3 days per week).
Key Responsibilities
Support the Project Manager with day-to-day technical and operational aspects.
Coordinate with OIMs to manage offshore termination and testing operations.
Ensure safe, timely, and high-quality execution of offshore work scopes.
Assist with planning, mobilisation, and logistics for offshore activities.
Bridge communication between onshore project teams and offshore personnel.
Contribute to project reporting, documentation, and lessons learned.
Requirements
Previous OIM experience or senior offshore operational role.
Strong knowledge of cable installation, termination, and testing processes.
Excellent coordination and communication skills.
Comfortable working in a hybrid setup with 3 days/week in Newcastle.
Desirable
Project support experience in offshore energy or renewables.
Understanding of HSE and offshore compliance standards.
