​Senior CSA Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager – Hyperscale Data Centre

The business operates at the forefront of mission-critical construction, partnering closely with global technology clients to provide commercial and project certainty across large, multi-discipline developments. Their teams are embedded within major programmes, working collaboratively across design, construction, and delivery to manage cost, risk, and value on technically demanding infrastructure projects.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior CSA Quantity Surveyor to provide commercial leadership across the civil, structural, and architectural packages of a hyperscale data centre project. The role requires strong experience in pre- and post-contract cost management, tender evaluation, contractor payments, change control, and final account negotiation. This position is firmly CSA-focused and suited to a QS who has operated on large, technically complex, high-value projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial management across CSA scopes on a hyperscale data centre project

• Produce detailed cost plans, estimates, and budgets to support project delivery

• Manage tender evaluations, procurement strategies, and value engineering exercises

• Ensure works are procured at best market value while maintaining quality standards

• Provide ongoing cost reporting, forecasting, and cash-flow management

• Carry out interim valuations and ensure timely, accurate contractor payments

• Manage change control, variations, and contractual issues

• Support the agreement and close-out of final accounts, including claims management

• Deliver cost analysis, benchmarking, and lessons-learned feedback to the client

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor on large construction projects

• Strong background in Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) cost management

• Experience delivering high-value projects (typically €100m+ or equivalent complexity)

• Demonstrated experience in pre- and post-contract commercial management

• Track record working on data centres, hyperscale infrastructure, life sciences, semiconductor, or similarly complex projects

• Excellent commercial, contractual, and stakeholder management skills

• Fluent English (written and spoken)

Required Skills

• Prior experience on hyperscale data centre developments

• Consultancy or client-side QS background

• Experience working on multi-discipline, fast-track programmes

• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or similar
