​Contract LNG Business Analyst - EOS / Energy Trading

We are currently supporting a major energy trading organisation in the search for an experienced LNG Business Analyst with strong EOS (Energy One) expertise to support a number of critical trading and technology initiatives.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a fast-paced commodity trading environment, partnering closely with trading, operations, and technology teams to enhance and optimise LNG trading processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the Business Analyst supporting LNG trading and operations teams

• Gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements

• Work closely with traders, schedulers, risk teams, and IT to deliver system improvements

• Support configuration and optimisation of the EOS ETRM platform

• Translate business requirements into technical specifications for development teams

• Facilitate UAT, testing, and system implementation

• Drive process improvements across LNG trade lifecycle, scheduling, and risk

Key Skills & Experience

• Proven experience working as a Business Analyst within energy or commodity trading

• Strong experience with EOS (Energy One) ETRM platform

• Experience supporting LNG trading or natural gas trading environments

• Strong understanding of the trade lifecycle within commodity trading

• Experience working with front office, risk, and operations teams

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Desirable

• Experience working on ETRM implementations or enhancements

• Exposure to LNG logistics, scheduling, or nominations

• Experience working within Agile delivery environments

Additional Information

• Contract role – Outside IR35

• Immediate start preferred

• Competitive day rate

• Remote working with occasional travel depending on project requirements
