Our client wishes to reinforce its team working on Power System Operations and Security in the context of deep integration of renewable energy sources, Energy and Balancing Market Integration. To achieve this, we are looking for experienced professionals with expertise in the field of transmission system operation. These experts will take part in local and international projects focusing on RES integration, security of supply, sustainability and economic efficiency of Power Systems.

Activities involve

• Analysis and definition of operational principles.

• Model definition and validation.

• Steady state (load flow, short circuit calculations etc.).

• Dynamic stability analysis (frequency, voltage stability.).

• Grid Code requirement and connection compliance studies.

• Support the analysis and evaluation of grid reliability and security (eg capacity calculation, balancing, operational ).

• Support the company’s business development teams in identifying and pursuing opportunities by establishing trusted relationships with our clients and developing of proposals.
  

Your profile

• Master’s degree in engineering or applied mathematics/Physics.

• Minimum 5 Years of experience in Power System Operations and Security (balancing and RES system integration, system operation and state-of-the-art technological solutions).

• Expertise in translating complex data into key strategic insights and valuable actions.

• Knowledge of power system simulation tools (PowerFactory, PSSE).

• Fluent in English.

• Knowledge of German, Dutch and/or French is a strong asset.
