​Senior Planner

Location: Nottingham / Sites across England & Wales (Hybrid)

Salary: £60,000 – £70,000

About the Role:

Join a leading energy infrastructure provider delivering essential electricity services across the UK. The company designs, builds, and maintains substations and transmission lines up to 400kV, fostering a safe, collaborative, and supportive environment.

As a Senior Planner, you’ll develop and manage construction programmes, liaise with project teams, embed planning culture, and support business improvement initiatives to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

​

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimise programmes for design, procurement, and construction

• Track progress and provide weekly reporting

• Integrate cost systems for performance reporting

• Manage risk, issue, and opportunity registers

• Support planning during tender stages

• Ensure programme compliance with contracts

​

Requirements:

• Competent in Primavera P6 & Microsoft Project

• Experience with earned value management and NEC contracts

• Knowledge of change management processes

• Overhead Lines project experience preferred

• Full UK driving licence
