​Vallum is working in collaboration with a Joint Venture on the Decommissioning of a Nuclear Power Plant in the state of Pennsylvania. Estimated for completion in 2052, this is a long term program of works, and as part of ongoing efforts they are hiring for a Radiation Protection Specialist.

Requirements include:

• Bachelors (Master's preferred) degree in Radiation Protection, Health Physics, Chemistry, Nuclear Engineering or relevant field

• 10 or more years in Radiation Protection or ALARA, with 5 years ALARA Program Management, preferably nuclear utility based (operational or decommissioning project)

• CHP accredited

• Experience in writing LTP and FSS plans for commercial nuclear stations
  

This role works a4 day working week, Monday to Thursdaywithrelocationsupport in the form ofstipendfor the first 12 months employment or aone off lumpsum.
