​Project Manager – BMS / PMS (Hyperscale Data Centre)

The organisation is known for its strength in systems integration, commissioning-led delivery, and technical assurance, operating at the sharp end of data centre construction.

About the Role

This role sits within a major hyperscale data centre development in Belgium, forming part of a wider European campus programme. The project involves complex Building Management Systems (BMS) and Power Management Systems (PMS) that are critical to the safe, resilient, and efficient operation of the facility. The BMS/PMS scope is a key technical package within the overall programme and requires strong coordination across MEP, commissioning, QA, and EHS teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the BMS/PMS construction package, ensuring timely installation, integration, and commissioning

• Support the overall project programme by coordinating BMS/PMS activities within the wider construction schedule

• Act as a visible safety leader on site, ensuring compliance with H&S regulations and participating in audits

• Coordinate with MEP teams, automation specialists, commissioning engineers, and specialist subcontractors

• Oversee procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning of all BMS and PMS components

• Ensure compliance with design specifications, client standards, and operational requirements

• Work closely with QA, Commissioning, and EHS teams to maintain high standards of execution

• Manage and track costs associated with the BMS/PMS package, including labour, materials, subcontractors, and variations

• Monitor on-site progress and resolve issues related to quality, safety, or design deviations

• Lead subcontractor and vendor meetings, driving progress and technical issue resolution

• Drive the handover process, ensuring all documentation, testing records, and commissioning reports are completed for final acceptance

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager or Construction Manager delivering BMS and/or PMS systems

• Background in data centres, mission-critical, industrial, or high-tech construction environments

• Strong technical understanding of BMS, PMS, and critical systems integration

• Experience managing specialist subcontractors and technology vendors

• Working knowledge of the full delivery lifecycle, from procurement through commissioning and handover

• Strong understanding of construction scheduling, cost tracking, and quality management

• Degree-qualified (or equivalent experience) in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline

• Effective communicator, able to operate within complex, multi-stakeholder project environments

• Ability to work on-site in Belgium
