​Planning Manager - Transmission

South West England / South Wales | Permanent | Up to £90k + Bonus + Car Allowance + Benefits

We’re looking for an experienced Planning Manager to support major substation projects within the transmission and renewables sector. This is a client-facing role with regular travel across the region.

The Role

• Develop and maintain detailed programmes for design, procurement and construction phases

• Work closely with project and site teams to reflect changes in live schedules

• Produce progress trackers and support the bid team with planning input

• Manage risk, issue and opportunity registers

• Mentor junior planners and contribute to continuous improvement

• Attend client meetings and support the full project lifecycle

What You’ll Bring

• Experience planning major projects in a high-voltage/substation environment

• Knowledge of national transmission substations

• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and experience with NEC contracts

• Strong stakeholder and team leadership skills

• Full UK driving licence
