Director of Origination & Power Marketing (remote)

A client Vallum has worked with since its inception 4 years ago following the JV of two major global Energy Commodity/Trading and Development firms in the US. This is an interesting role for someone wanting to have the opportunity to move into Chief Commercial role in the next 3 - 5 years.

Traditionally specializing in Utility Scale Solar and BESS, they are leveraging off their parent company to look into diversified Hyperscale and Gas technologies.

What they need:

• 5+ years of Origination experience within the US renewable energy

• 1-2 GW of projects originated

• Willingness to travel and meet with customers (Carolinas, TX, NV, PJM, CA – leveraging the relationships and be out in the field enriching the network)

• Existing experience with Offtakers

• ISO, non-ISO and regulated markets

• Corporate Customers

• IPPs and Retail Energy Providers

• Banks and Financial Institutions

• Boutique Wholesale Participants

• Cooperatives & Municipalities (local customers within the utility programs)

• CCAs in CA
