About the Role (Remote)

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join a major nuclear energy project in France. Acting as the Owner’s Engineer, you will play a key role in overseeing the delivery of a large-scale energy infrastructure development. This position requires strong technical and project delivery expertise, with the ability to interface effectively across civil, mechanical, and electrical disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the Owner’s Engineer, ensuring project compliance, quality, and alignment with the client’s objectives.

  • Oversee civil engineering works within the context of a large, complex energy infrastructure project.

  • Collaborate closely with mechanical and electrical engineering teams, understanding interfaces and dependencies.

  • Monitor project execution from design through to commissioning, ensuring timely and successful delivery.

  • Manage contractor performance, review technical documentation, and provide engineering assurance.

  • Coordinate with stakeholders, providing clear reporting and technical input to support decision-making.

  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.

  • Proven experience delivering large-scale energy infrastructure projects (power generation, oil & gas, renewables, or nuclear).

  • Strong understanding of how civil works integrate with mechanical and electrical systems.

  • Track record of overseeing the entire project lifecycle, not limited to roads or standalone buildings.

  • Experience as an Owner’s Engineer or in a similar client-representative capacity preferred.

  • Excellent communication skills in English.

  • Must hold an EU passport (work authorization in France required).

What We Offer

  • Opportunity to work on one of Europe’s most significant nuclear energy projects.

  • A pivotal role with influence over project delivery and success.

  • Competitive compensation and benefits package.

  • International, multidisciplinary working environment.
