Job description
This is a contract position that will initially run for a 6-month period, subject to a potential extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project scopes for offshore and onshore cable projects
- Choosing the most economical, safe and successful method to carry out the project
- Lead project teams including project engineers, subcontractors and partners across all project phases
- Provide engineering input from initial assessment through to technical and economic feasibility
- Prepare and review technical and non technical reports, including specifications, proposals, and contracts
- Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations
- Attend client and site visits as required
- Participate in vessel mobilizations and various site operations, including offshore team activities.
- Preside over meetings with clients, authorities and other contractors on site
- Site administration, cost controlling and budgeting.
- Plan, coordinate, and manage end to end subsea cable installation projects (HV export and inter array cables)
- Provide regular project reporting and documentation to stakeholders
- Support tender(Bidding) preparation , including tender analysis, selection of installation
method, cost estimate, and etc.
Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g., Marine, Engineering, Renewable Energy, Environmental)
- Minimum 10 years of relevant industry or operational EPCI experience
- Experience working with offshore vessels, marine logistics, and cable lay operations
- Fluent in English, oral and written
- Strong communication skills.
