Business Development Manager – Wind 📍 Antwerp, Belgium

At Vallum Associates, we partner with global companies to help them expand and strengthen their teams. We are currently supporting our client in Antwerp in the search for a commercially driven and entrepreneurial Business Development Manager.

The Opportunity

In this dynamic and highly visible role, you will combine entrepreneurial drive, commercial strategy and operational leadership to grow and professionalise our client’s Wind activities across the Benelux region.

This is not a desk-based position. You will be regularly on the road — visiting customer sites, coordinating jobs on location, strengthening relationships and identifying growth opportunities. With customers spread across the region and beyond, travel, longer distances and occasional overnight stays are a natural and energising part of the role.

You will play a key role in both commercial growth and operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the development and expansion of the Wind business across the Benelux region

  • Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts

  • Visit customer sites to support projects, strengthen partnerships and identify new opportunities

  • Prepare and manage sales quotations, follow up on opportunities and oversee project execution

  • Monitor cost control, margins and overall profitability

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, subcontractors, suppliers and international colleagues

  • Identify customer needs and proactively generate new leads and service opportunities

  • Maintain accurate CRM data and sales pipeline visibility

  • Coordinate with product centres, suppliers and regional Wind managers to ensure aligned service delivery

  • Support marketing initiatives, trade fairs and international Wind activities

  • Contribute to process optimisation, efficiency improvements and an excellent customer experience


About You

You are a commercially minded and communicative professional who thrives at the intersection of business development and operational coordination within a technical environment.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the Wind sector

  • Strong commercial acumen combined with solid technical understanding

  • Customer-focused, proactive and opportunity-driven

  • Well-connected within the local Wind market

  • Strong organisational and coordination skills

  • Confident communicator across all levels of stakeholders

  • Fluent in Dutch and English
