​Senior Project Development Manager – Germany

Location: Berlin

Salary: DOE + %Bonus + benefits

Overview:

A growing international renewable energy company is expanding operations in Germany. The Senior Project Development Manager will lead large-scale renewable energy projects (battery storage, wind, solar, hybrid), driving market entry, greenfield development, and M&A initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead project pipeline development and secure grid connections & sites.

• Manage interconnection, permitting, and readiness-to-build activities.

• Oversee project viability, procurement, financing, and tender processes.

• Engage key stakeholders including grid operators, municipalities, landowners, and partners.

• Contribute to strategic business planning in the German market.

Requirements:

• 5–10 years in renewable energy project development (battery storage a strong plus).

• Proven track record with large-scale PV, wind, or hybrid projects.

• Experience with German permitting and interconnection processes.

• Master’s degree in engineering, business, or related field.

• Fluent in German & English.
