Renewable Energy Project Developer – Germany

Location:Northern, Western, or Central Germany - hybrid

We are looking for a Project Developer to support our solar and storage team in Germany. In this role, you will help identify, develop, and implement photovoltaic (PV) and battery storage projects, contributing directly to the energy transition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and secure suitable project sites for PV and battery storage systems.

• Assess locations for planning feasibility, legal requirements, and construction/operation potential.

• Lead contract negotiations and presentations with landowners, authorities, municipalities, and other stakeholders.

• Initiate and manage permitting and approval procedures.

• Research land ownership and build relationships with decision-makers.

• Organise and present projects at on-site meetings and create potential analyses.
  

Qualifications:

• Degree in Economics, Engineering, Planning, Law, Geography, or a related field.

• Several years of experience in renewable energy project development (PV or wind), ideally covering all project phases.

• Knowledge of legal and planning frameworks for renewable energy projects.

• Experience with land acquisition, property matters, and stakeholder management.

• Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.

• Fluent in German; proficient in English is a plus.
