Our client, a leading international energy company is seeking an experienced Senior Power Trader to join its Prague trading desk. This role is centered on intraday, day-ahead, and balancing markets, where you’ll be at the heart of short-term market dynamics and fast-paced decision making.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and optimize trades in

  intraday, day-ahead, and balancing markets.

• Monitor real-time market conditions, demand/supply balance, and regulatory developments.

• Develop strategies to maximise P&L in short-term power markets.

• Collaborate with analytics, portfolio, and risk teams to improve outcomes.

• Drive innovation in trading tools and approaches.

Ideal Candidate

• Proven experience in short-term power trading.

• Deep understanding of Central European power markets.

• Strong analytical and decision-making skills under pressure.

• Track record of delivering consistent trading performance.

• Team player with excellent communication skills.
