​React Software Engineer - Contract - Inside IR35

• Remote based role with some adhoc quarterly travel to London

We’re looking for a skilled React Software Engineer to join our energy clients' software engineering team and help build modern, scalable web applications. React Software Engineer - What you’ll be doing

• Building and maintaining high-quality front-end applications using React and TypeScript

• Designing and implementing custom React hooks and reusable components

• Collaborating closely with product, design, and backend teams

• Working with AWS services to support scalable, cloud-native solutions

• Writing clean, well-tested, and maintainable code

• Contributing to technical decisions and improving engineering best practices

What we’re looking for

• Strong experience with React (version 16+) and TypeScript

• Solid understanding of custom hooks, component architecture, and state management

• Experience working with AWS (e.g. Lambda, S3, CloudFront, API Gateway, or similar)

• Good knowledge of modern front-end tooling and best practices

• Ability to work collaboratively in an agile environment

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Nice to have

• Experience with testing frameworks (e.g. Jest, React Testing Library)

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines

• Exposure to backend or full-stack development
