​M365 Specialist- Contract- Sheffield/Hybrid

We are seeking experienced Microsoft Specialist to provide advanced operational support across a large enterprise M365 tenant. This role focuses on high-level incident response, complex troubleshooting, configuration and policy management, and organisation-wide deployments of M365 Copilot.

Key Responsibilities

Incident & Problem Management

  • Provide 3rd / 4th line support for complex M365 Copilot and Microsoft 365 incidents.

  • Triage and resolve multi-user and enterprise-wide issues including access problems, usage errors, and unexpected Copilot behavior.

  • Perform deep root-cause analysis across platforms such as Microsoft 365 Admin Center, Entra ID, Conditional Access, SharePoint/OneDrive permissions, Microsoft Teams, Group Policy Objects, and end-user experience tooling.

Monitoring & Observability

  • Leverage advanced monitoring and observability solutions to proactively identify and diagnose service issues.

  • Interpret data from tools such as ThousandEyes, Downdetector, and similar enterprise monitoring platforms.

Required Experience & Skills

  • 5–8+ years’ experience supporting Microsoft 365 in a large-scale enterprise environment.

  • Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Copilot, SharePoint/OneDrive permissions, Entra ID, and Conditional Access.

  • Proven experience working in regulated environments with the ability to produce audit-ready documentation and artifacts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting large-scale Microsoft Copilot deployments (Free and/or M365 licensed), ideally within financial services or similarly regulated industries.

  • Proficiency in PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API for advanced troubleshooting, automation, and reporting.
