​Grid Engineer – Renewable Energy Integration

Location: Germany (Remote/Flexible options)

Salary: €90,000 + 10% performance bonus + company car allowance

Are you passionate about the energy transition and want to apply your electrical engineering expertise to large-scale renewable projects? We are looking for a Grid Engineer to help integrate solar, wind, and battery storage systems into European grids, with a focus on Germany.

Responsibilities:

• Manage grid-related topics across Europe, focusing on Germany.

• Handle and negotiate grid connection applications and contracts (MV/HV) for PV, BESS, and wind projects.

• Obtain grid connection requirements and cost assessments from grid operators.

• Ensure compliance with technical connection standards

• Build and maintain relationships with grid operators.

• Perform grid calculations and create electrical diagrams (LV/MV/HV).

• Develop substation concepts at feed-in points.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

• 3+ years of experience in the energy sector, ideally in renewables or with grid operators.

• Experience integrating solar, wind, and battery storage systems into the grid.

• Solid understanding of grid connection applications and substation planning.

• Medium and high voltage knowledge; familiarity with Smart Grid technologies.

• Fluent in German
