Job description

Our client is a national full-service MEP engineering firm with more than 350 professionals in multiple U.S. offices. The firm works across sectors including higher education, healthcare, civic, science & technology, and district energy, offering design, utility infrastructure, commissioning, and energy/decarbonization services.

We’re seeking a licensed Electrical Engineer (PE) to support a Senior Electrical Engineer in Training (EIT or PE mentor). This is a project-track role ideal for a mid-level engineer looking to transition into project leadership or management. You’ll assist on commercial, institutional, and utility infrastructure projects, while gradually taking on larger responsibilities in scope and client interaction.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) – must be active and in good standing

  • BS in Electrical Engineering

  • 5+ years of building systems or utility infrastructure engineering/design experience, ideally in consulting environment

  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and standard office and PDF tools; familiarity with equipment selection tools

  • Strong working knowledge of NEC, ICC building codes, and industry design and coordination standards

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrated leadership potential, and a client-focused mindset
