Global Compliance & Contracts Administrator
Be the backbone of a growing international recruitment business.
We’re hiring a Global Compliance & Contracts Administrator to provide critical, end-to-end support to our Sales Floor and Support / Back Office teams across Vallum’s UK and international operations.
This is a key operational role, suited to someone highly organised, detail-driven, and confident working across compliance, contracts, and process ownership in a fast-paced recruitment environment. You’ll play a vital part in ensuring our consultants, contractors, and clients are supported accurately, compliantly, and on time.
The Opportunity
As part of Vallum’s global support function, you’ll take ownership of compliance and contract processes across multiple regions and group companies.

Compliance & Monitoring Responsibilities
Monitor compliance with company policies and administrative best practice
Collate, process, and maintain compliance documentation within agreed deadlines
Manage right-to-work checks, insurance documentation, and background verification
Support contractor onboarding, ensuring all required documentation is obtained and processed
Liaise directly with candidates to obtain missing or outstanding documentation
Ensure GDPR procedures are followed during onboarding
Check and chase IR35 status determinations from clients within set timeframes
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records across all systems
Stay informed on relevant legislation, policies, and regulatory changes
Support management with compliance process implementation and improvement
Contracts Responsibilities
Draft, issue, and update contractor and client contracts using standard templates
Monitor contract renewals, amendments, and termination dates to ensure deadlines are met
Issue and track termination letters and notices
Ensure contracts adhere to client-specific requirements
Support consultants in resolving contractor or pay-related issues
Communicate contractual obligations that impact recruitment processes
Liaise with contractors, clients, and internal teams to resolve queries or discrepancies
Keep up to date with legislative developments impacting the recruitment industry
Operational & Business Support
Provide day-to-day support to the Manager and wider team
Create and maintain worker profiles and pay details using the TimeSheet Portal
Manage the contracts inbox and respond to internal and external queries professionally
Produce reports and maintain trackers for audits and management reviews
Support internal project work (e.g. Agency Workers Regulations)
Update monthly activity reports
Attend internal management meetings and external legal/compliance seminars
Authorise contractors to be taken “off hold” in line with No Contract No Pay processes
Support ad-hoc tasks as required
About You
Able to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within a team
Confident, assertive, and professional in communication
Exceptionally organised with strong attention to detail
Proactive, reliable, and eager to learn
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel
Interested in legislation and compliance within the recruitment industry
Desirable Experience
Previous experience within the recruitment industry (international / EU exposure preferred)
Background in contracts and compliance
Experience in administrative or operational roles
Legal or regulatory background
