​Responsibilities

• Lead the definition of a standard set of data and common definitions for registration and qualification within system operators’ flexibility products.

• Create the FMAR data ontology, including key definitions and relationships.

• Lead the process of securing approvals for changes as a Market Flexibility Rule.

• Understand existing registration and qualification processes for flexibility products and identify alignment opportunities.

• Contribute to stakeholder engagement through interviews and workshops.

Requirements

• Experience leading data standardization efforts for registration and qualification in energy or flexibility markets.

• Proficiency in developing data ontologies, including defining entities and relationships (e.g., FMAR-specific).

• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with proven ability to conduct interviews and facilitate workshops.

• Expertise in navigating Market Flexibility Rule approval processes within UK energy systems.

• Deep knowledge of current registration/qualification workflows for flexibility products, with ability to spot optimization opportunities.
