Job Title: Quality Engineer

Location: Chatham/Southeast office

Job Type: Full-time

Salary:  £51,245, plus car and a bonus of 3%

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes.
• Conduct inspections, tests, and audits to ensure products meet specifications.
• Analyze data to identify trends and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues.
• Drive root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
• Support regulatory and compliance audits as required.
• Ensure documentation of quality processes and procedures is accurate and up to date.

Skills/Qualifications:

• HNC (minimum requirement) qualification in a discipline such as Quality Management, Construction, Project Management or Technical/Engineering or equivalent.
• As a minimum be a Practitioner member of the Chartered Quality Institute with an aspiration to gain Chartered status, which we will support;
• Have quality management system experience gained in the construction industry (manufacturing based or other experience would not be suitable);
• Be a trained QMS Auditor/Internal QMS Auditor with experience in auditing to ISO 9001: 2015;
• Have experience of root cause analysis
