Description

We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Power BI. As a Power BI Developer, you will help our organization make data-driven decisions by creating interactive reports and dashboards to visualize complex data sets. You will work closely with stakeholders, data analysts, and other departments to identify business requirements and translate them into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

•     Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand business requirements and objectives for data visualization.

•     Develop and design interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to provide actionable insights and support decision-making processes.

•     Perform data modeling, create data visualizations, and maintain data accuracy and integrity within Power BI.

•     Utilize DAX, SQL, and other programming languages to manipulate and transform data according to business needs.

•     Optimize and enhance existing Power BI reports and dashboards for improved performance and user experience.

•     Conduct user training sessions and provide support to end-users to ensure proper adoption and understanding of Power BI tools and solutions.

•     Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in business intelligence and data visualization technologies.

Qualifications:

•     Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.

•     Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of successful BI projects.

•     Proficient in using Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and DAX.

•     Strong understanding of data modeling, SQL, and data warehousing principles.

•     Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

•     Ability to communicate complex data concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

•     Strong organizational and project management skills.

Preferred Skills:

•     Experience with additional BI tools like Tableau, QlikView, or Looker is a plus.

•     Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS and their data services.

•     Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis and manipulation.
