Role- Commissioning Engineer

Location- 111 Buckingham Palace Road, London, England, SW1W 0SR

Mode – Full time

Salary- 50K-70K/annum

Job summary:

• As a Commissioning Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and successful commissioning of energy systems, including renewable energy plants, power stations, or industrial energy projects. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to validate system designs, oversee installation, and ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory standards.

Required:

• Extensive experience commissioning BEMS and control systems particularly Siemens PX and Trend IQ4 with knowledge of Siemens Diego CC Trend IQ vision and integration of M-Bus Modbus Bacnet protocols.
• Strong communication and report-writing skills adept in Microsoft Office with proven ability to build relationships and meet deadlines.
• Highly organized capable of managing multiple contracts direct reports and customer relationships simultaneously. 
• Skilled in problem-solving people management and motivating teams with potential opportunities for commissioning engineers seeking advancement.
• Due to the nature of this role its essential you possess a valid driver's licence.

Qualifications

Essential:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Mechanical, or Energy Engineering (or related field).
• Proven experience in commissioning systems within the energy sector (e.g., power plants, renewable energy, oil & gas).
• Strong understanding of energy systems, including turbines, generators, electrical control systems, and renewable energy technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
