Job description
We are looking for an Implementation Consultant to join a fast-growing, capital markets fintech scale up that provide innovative data management solutions for the hedge fund and asset management space.
They are looking for someone who is excited at the prospect of explaining product features to clients, helping clients with their implementations and building client-specific implementations. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make key contributions to the future of their award winning product and shape how their clients interact with it.
Implementation Consultant - What You’ll Do
Explaining the product to their clients, crafting innovative solutions, delivering technical
content, system configuration and training.
Contributing to analysis and review of financial services software functionality, in an
exploratory phase.
Providing consultancy internally on investment management operations, financial products,
processes and best practices, and financial product capability within a vendor application.
Defining and documenting future state architecture and processes by collaborating with
internal and external SME’s.
Liaising with project managers to help build coherent and deliverable project plans to
assimilate external deliverables, against internal related builds and resource requirements.
Implementation Consultant - What You’ll Need
You will have a background in operations on the buy side or sell side or a track record with a
vendor where you have worked with complex financial products.
Basic technical skills in SQL and/or Python would be needed.
Good understanding of market participants and the roles they play (brokers and market
makers, custodians, prime brokers, exchanges, vendors, middle and back office outsourcers,
fund services etc).
Any experience with Portfolio Management Systems (PMS), Order Management Systems
(OMS), Execution Management Systems (EMS), Trade Operations, Risk, Portfolio
Compliance is nice to have but not mandatory.
