Banking Client Experience required

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join a leading banking and financial services client. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in automation, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code, with strong hands-on experience in Ansible for configuration management and deployment automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for banking applications.

• Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, and modules to automate provisioning, configuration, and deployments.

• Manage and optimize build, release, and deployment processes across multiple environments.

• Collaborate with application developers, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure smooth delivery pipelines

• Support cloud/on-prem hybrid infrastructure (AWS / Azure / Private Cloud).

• Troubleshoot environment and deployment issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.

• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) best practices using Ansible, Terraform, and Git.

• Work within Agile and DevSecOps frameworks to enhance automation, monitoring, and operational excellence.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of DevOps / Build & Release Engineering experience.

• Expert in Ansible (playbooks, roles, dynamic inventories, modules).

• Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.).

• Good understanding of Linux systems administration and shell scripting.

• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).

• Experience in banking, financial services, or other regulated environments.

• Knowledge of monitoring & logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
