Vallum Associates is partner with an engineering provider who is seeking a Solar Engineer to join their team in Wall, NJ. This role will be focused on the design and engineering of solar projects (C&I and community solar).

Responsibilities:

• Support electrical design phases for solar PV projects, including site assessments, CAD drafting, documentation, and construction support under Senior Engineer direction.

• Ensure quality in assigned tasks, transforming concept designs into final construction documents.

• Independently complete tasks such as:

• Drafting electrical plans in AutoCAD

• Designing electrical distribution and single-line diagrams

• Sizing voltage, conductors, and raceways

• Conducting PV Syst calculations and utility coordination

• Reviewing codes and preparing specifications

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience in electrical design for solar PV systems

• Skilled in producing construction documents, meeting quality standards

• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and software like ETAP and PV Syst

• Strong written and verbal communication
