By deploying advanced energy storage solutions, we ensure reliable, flexible, and sustainable electricity supply when and where it’s needed most. With operations across several European markets, they are scaling rapidly to meet the demands of a decarbonised energy system.
They are looking for a(Senior) Manager – Grid Policy & Market Developmentto strengthen our German operations and play a key role in shaping the next phase of the energy transition.
This position bridges technology, policy, and business development. You’ll engage with regulators, market operators, and grid stakeholders, while helping translate policy frameworks into real business opportunities.
Your Impact
🔹 Represent the company in German energy policy forums, consultations, and industry associations
🔹 Advocate for energy storage-friendly market rules and regulatory frameworks
🔹 Monitor regulatory and market changes at both German and EU level, identifying new opportunities
🔹 Collaborate with grid operators (TSOs/DSOs) to secure strategic connections for future storage projects
🔹 Provide market and policy insights to guide business development and project teams
What You Bring
✔️ Degree in Engineering, Energy Systems, Economics, or Policy (Master’s preferred)
✔️ 5+ years’ experience in energy policy, stakeholder engagement, or regulatory affairs in the German market
✔️ Strong knowledge of grid operations, electricity market structures, and regulatory processes
✔️ Exceptional communication skills in German & English, with the ability to influence decision-makers
✔️ Comfortable in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments
Nice to Have
➕ Background in renewable energy or storage project development
➕ Network within German energy policy and grid circles
➕ Familiarity with EU energy policy frameworks
