Hybrid Position
We are seeking a driven Electrical Engineer to join our innovative team. In this key role, you will oversee the design and planning of complex engineering projects, lead a team of designers and drafters, and represent our firm in critical project meetings. You will also take the helm as Project Manager for select projects, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the engineering lead, collaborating closely with project managers and team leaders to coordinate project deliverables.
Spearhead the design and production of cutting-edge systems, including conducting site surveys, attending meetings, and developing detailed reports, specifications, and drawings.
Oversee engineering tasks, ensuring technical accuracy and seamless integration with other project disciplines.
Review and refine conceptual designs alongside leadership to ensure all projects meet quality standards and deadlines.
Maintain close coordination with project managers to ensure technical integrity and project objectives are met.
Ensure adherence to project budgets, scope, and timelines, ensuring cost-effective solutions and successful project delivery.
Champion the Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) processes to uphold the highest standards of engineering excellence.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
Hands-on experience with design tools such as Revit and AutoCAD.
Strong technical expertise in electrical systems for various building types including healthcare, education, office, residential, and commercial projects.
Familiarity with state building codes, energy codes, and NFPA standards.
Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred, though not required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Experience with project management is a plus.
