Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Plumbing/Fire Protection Engineer, you will:

  • Design Complex Systems: Develop plumbing and fire protection systems for diverse projects, including hospitals, schools, commercial buildings, and more.

  • Create High-Quality Deliverables: Prepare calculations, drawings, and specifications that meet the firm’s rigorous QA/QC process.

  • Incorporate Design Changes: Utilize AutoCAD and Revit software to make design changes and updates.

  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with engineers and architects to ensure seamless integration of systems into building designs.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in plumbing and fire protection design, preferably in commercial, healthcare, and institutional facilities.

  • Technical Expertise: Proficient in AutoCAD (Revit knowledge preferred). Familiarity with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Code Knowledge: Strong understanding of code compliance and industry standards for plumbing and fire protection.

  • Independent & Collaborative: Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Education: B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
