Location: Flexible (with occasional travel)

Are you an experienced, dynamic and results-driven Business Development professional used to selling SaaS software and cyber security services to clients? Our client are a leading SaaS software provider offering OT / SCADA cyber security resilience via a combination of mixed layer/proxy firewalls. You will be supported with warm leads, through the in-house lead generation and marketing teams. You will play a pivotal role in expanding the company’s presence in the energy and technology sectors, contributing to both short-term wins and long-term strategic goals. Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and execute new business within the energy and technology sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, partners, and industry influencers.
- Develop tailored solutions and proposals to meet client needs and deliver maximum value.
- Conduct market research and analysis to understand industry trends, customer demands, and competitor activities.
- Lead contract negotiations and close business deals to meet revenue targets.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, product, and operations, to align efforts and ensure client success.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings to increase brand awareness and establish industry connections.
- Monitor and report on progress against sales and growth targets, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet goals.
Skills/Experience required
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management in the energy, technology, or related sectors.
- Strong understanding of the energy industry, including trends in renewable energy, sustainability, and energy efficiency solutions.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build relationships and influence at all levels, both internally and externally.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying and capitalizing on business opportunities.
- Results-oriented, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
