Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication: Act as the central point of contact for project scheduling, providing real-time updates to all stakeholders, including executive teams and clients, to ensure seamless communication and proactive issue resolution.- Risk Management and Contingency Planning: Conduct thorough risk assessments, proactively identifying potential scheduling delays or resource conflicts, and develop robust mitigation plans to keep projects on track.
- Project Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze project performance data, prepare detailed progress reports, and forecast potential scheduling changes, ensuring informed decision-making across project teams and maintaining clear communication channels.
- Process Innovation and Knowledge Sharing: Drive continuous improvement in project planning processes and systems. Mentor junior team members, contribute to process enhancements, and share best practices in high-tech science and technology project planning.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. An advanced degree (e.g., MSc, MBA) is highly valued.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in project planning, with a strong track record in complex science and technology construction projects (e.g., clean rooms, labs, biotech facilities).
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of project scheduling software (Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent) and data-driven planning methodologies, with expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
- Analytical and Strategic Thinking: Ability to assess complex project details, analyze large sets of data, and develop high-level strategic plans for project efficiency and timely completion.
- Leadership and Communication: Proven ability to lead planning efforts across cross-functional teams and effectively communicate detailed technical information to both internal stakeholders and external clients.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
- Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP), LEED AP, or equivalent certifications are highly desirable.
- Sector-Specific Expertise: In-depth knowledge of science and technology construction standards, sustainable building practices, and the unique logistical challenges in this field.
- Design-Build Experience: Extensive experience in the design-build construction model, with a strong background in aligning multi-disciplinary teams and processes on high-spec projects.
