Job description
As part of the short-term trading team, you will be responsible for executing trades in the day-ahead and intraday power markets across Central Europe. Working in a fully rotating24/7 shift model, you will help manage and optimize a growing renewable energy portfolio and ensure accurate scheduling and market participation.
This is a hands-on role that offers exposure to real-time trading strategies, market dynamics, and decision-making under pressure. Full training and development support will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute trades across European power markets, with a focus on Germany (DE/LU bidding zone)
Support real-time asset and portfolio optimization
Monitor market prices, system conditions, and forecasts to identify trading opportunities
Coordinate nominations and schedules with TSOs and market operators
Collaborate closely with senior traders, analysts, and data experts
What We're Looking For:
1 - 2 years experience in Trading
A degree in Engineering, Economics, Physics, Mathematics, Energy Systems, or a related field
Some exposure to energy markets, trading, or energy systems (internships or work-study welcome)
Excellent analytical and numerical skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Fluency in German and English

Willingness to work in a
24/7 shift rotation, including nights, weekends, and holidays
